Project description

Set within the historic Mount Eagle Estate—originally master-planned by Walter Burley Griffin—the Eaglemont Residence is a four-level home that responds thoughtfully to its elevated site in Melbourne’s leafy northeast. Perched atop one of the city’s highest points, the home is designed to integrate seamlessly with its natural surroundings while preserving the estate’s heritage character.

Organised around distinct living zones, the architecture is defined by generous openings and a central courtyard that draws nature into the heart of the home. Expansive windows frame sweeping views, dissolving the boundaries between interior and landscape.

The material palette—comprising in-situ concrete, metal, and timber—offers both durability and understated elegance, ensuring the home’s longevity and visual coherence. Sustainable design is central to the project, with solar panels, rainwater harvesting, a fresh air ventilation system, double glazing, and a green roof that enhances thermal performance.

Eaglemont Residence is a timeless composition of luxury, functionality, and environmental consciousness—designed to endure, inspire, and connect deeply with place and purpose.
